Management Company

DC is a management company with 30 years' experience operating a variety of programs, centering around our mission of improving the performance of people and institutions in the economy.

Our current management projects include operation of a Community-Based Job Corps Center in Maine, Career Centers in Maine and in Richmond, VA, youth employment programs, and dislocated worker initiatives.

Our approach to program management is based on a set of core operational concepts:

  • Innovation. Addressing work-life issues through an informed process of design innovation including the use of contemporary technological capabilities and collaboration.
  • Constructivism. The engagement of people in a process of building their own learning through collaboration, active participation in projects, and designed assessment.
  • Sustainability. Our mission involves not merely helping people find work, but creating the institutions, support structures and learning environments needed to develop sustainable employability among workers, the ability to maintain well-paying work in a changing global and local economy.
  • Professional Development. The core of a functioning enterprise is a competent workforce, engaged in an ongoing process of learning. We place a high value on professional development in all of our programs.

Through creative thinking, innovative design and a supportive management approach, TDC has become a leader in contemporary, effective program management.
