Job Corps, a national program of vocational training and education for 16 to 24-year-olds, provides an alternative route for youth into the job market.

TDC operates the Loring Job Corps Center in Limestone, Maine. Our unique design, the Community-Based Job Corps Center, is based on the need to prepare youth for the job market by helping them to develop not only vocational skills, but the capability to function well in authentic work environments.

Students at Loring Job Corps Center participate in enterprise-based learning, performing authentic work while learning job skills, and participating in the development of a healthy community on Center through collaboration and interaction with students and staff.
