In our involvement with employment services for Maine residents, TDC developed a new design, which was adopted by the state and is now known as Career Advancement Services (CAS). The CAS model incorporates a previously splintered set of services into a single design, available to workers through a system of Career Centers.
The spheres of service in the CAS design include assessment, planning, learning, transition, resources and resource information, customer service and performance management.
Within Career Center operations, these service spheres provide a operational and philosophical structure for how business is done, creating an environment of continuity around career development and transition services while still allowing for customization of service based on individual customer needs and strengths.
